The UOC and the Incorpora Programme of the ?la Caixa? Charitable Fund favour reintegration
[21/12/2009]
The UOC and the "la Caixa" Charitable Fund have signed a collaboration agreement to favour the employment reintegration of people at a risk of or in a situation of social exclusion.

Through the Incorpora Programme of the “la Caixa” Charitable Fund, the UOC promotes institutional social responsibility, enabling people at a risk of social exclusion to enter employment.

Among other aspects, the personnel department of the UOC promotes the value of the institution of fostering the ability of underprivileged groups to have an opportunity to enter or re-enter employment.

Every time someone in these groups enters employment at the UOC, the Barcelona City Incorpora Group, together with the personnel department of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, will assess and monitor their integration.

The UOC also collaborates with other institutions that promote the reintegration of people in employment, as is the case of the Ranstad, Manpower, Surt and Eurofirms foundations. Thanks to these collaborations, an increasingly greater number of people is able to re-enter employment.
