Requests for resources

The Press Service from the UOC’s Communications Department can respond to journalists’ and communications professionals’ requests with a range of resources:

  • Specific information and data on the UOC’s activities, such as institutional and academic events, student profiles, etc.;
  • Personalised press release service and calls to press conferences by subject matter and location;
  • Contact with members of the Governing Council and faculty, researchers and experts working at the University, for interviews, reports, articles, talks, etc.;
  • Photographs and images from specific events or other areas that are not openly available from the Flickr account;
  • Video and audio recordings from the different events organised by the University.

The UOC has researchers and managers able to advise and respond to journalists on subjects and areas of research such as:

  • Wireless network security and cryptography, software engineering, collaborative learning systems;
  • Digital culture and literature;
  • Internet rights, data protection, intellectual property;
  • Democracy and e-administration;
